Our university student blog, Student Speak, is on the hunt for three new bloggers for the upcoming 2018-2019 academic year. We are hiring a food blogger and two general student bloggers for three paid positions. If you’re the go-to friend for food and restaurant suggestions, or love writing about university life, tips and tricks, then we have just the job for you!

The food blogger will review several local restaurants in both list article and individual review formats for a total of five posts over the academic year. They will be responsible for taking pictures of the food and restaurants, while also commenting on the experience (e.g. food, ambiance, service, etc). Interested candidates will be passionate about food and local businesses. They must also be outgoing and willing to chat with restaurant owners and staff to create and maintain a positive working relationship.

The general student blogger will have topics to write about covering anything from what it’s like to be a university student, to giving advice to high school students (and future Ridgebacks!). They will be responsible for doing any necessary research, writing their blog and submitting it on time. Interested candidates will have a passion for writing and facilitating a positive university experience.

Applicants must be current, full-time students at the university.

If being a student blogger sounds like something you’d be interested in, apply before Monday, August 13, 2018. There will be training for the selected candidate.
